Happy Chinese New Year~!!

     Happy chinese new year to everyone!! Yes it is an auspicious and joyous celebration, where we meet relatives we rarely see and receive red packets aka angpao and crave whats in them lil red packets.

     I've just noticed 2 days ago that the mucles on my left arm got bigger . After much thought, I realized that it was the badminton lol. My entire left arm was sore after that badminton session, but after it recovered... my muscles got bigger. ZOMG.. worst part.. its only my left arm, my right arm is still the same  IMBALANCED!!. Went to Sri Petaling, Endah Parade on tuesday to play futsal *another game I'm so noob at* Yea.. I only played half an hour then got out hahaha... not my sport . Went home and took a bath after futsal then waited for Jiayi to pick us up and headed over to midvalley to watch cloverfield. Cloverfield was just ok ok only larh. Not as exciting as I expected lol. I went home with Yih Hon and changed into bball atire at his house.. then i received a phonecall frm chen tseng. It was like dis...

Chen Tseng : hello?

Me : yea wat?

Chen Tseng : Is the parking ticket with you?

Me : !#$&* !!! I forgot!!

Chen Tseng : Ei can come now and pass the ticket anot?

Me : ya ya I'll call u back later.

    LOL man.. Yih Hon had to take me back to midvalley and I passed the ticket to Jiayi. Anderson followed Yih Hon's car from midvalley. Went straight to Idaman to shoot hoops. Had a quick warmup... then a warmup 1 on 1 match.. Kenny Low vs Koh Yih Hon. score was 4 - 1 Kenny Low wins. But Yih Hon was conserving energy and wasnt defending properly hahaha. Then we started our 21 ball 1 on 1. We both gave our all and I unlocked my shooting potential that day. It was like I'm a totally diffrent person when playing that match. It was the 1 match I ever concentrated hardest on in my entire life. Its so hard to describe whatever that happened to me that day. We both dont wanna lose to each other. And we played the best 1 on 1 we ever played.We both played like we had nothing to lose. Ended with the score of 21 - 17 Yih Hon wins.

 No I wasnt pissed. I had a seriously good game. The climax of the game for me was when the score was 17 - 13 with Yih Hon 4 baskets ahead of me. I told myself.. "If he scores 1 more then I have totally no hope of catching up". And during that time.. I already had an injury on my left hand *caused by Yih Hon during the match* my index finger was actually swollen not to mention I'm left handed!!. After taking a deep breath I put all my energy into making 4 magnificent baskets in a row. And all 4 were jumpshots. I equalized the score out of pure will and determination. But Yih Hon prevailed and it was his turn to score 4 baskets in a row to take the win. I lost by 4 points. I was actually surprised I actually scored 17 baskets against Yih Hon. Why? cuz I remember my 1st 1 on 1 match with Yih Hon was sooo bad I didnt even wanna remember the score. My 2nd 1 on 1 with him was 11 - 2 he won. My 3rd match was 11 - 9 I lost by 2 baskets. So yea I've been improving myself. Darn.. If I didnt have that injury on my left hand I might have lost by 1 basket or even won . But later Yih Hon said "You know.. I felt like breaking my own fingers when I accidentally injured you just now. What I did just now was so stupid. Sorry ya?". Dont worry Yih Hon. No hard feelings. We'll play again the next time we meet. And I wont lose .

After that 1 on 1 we played 3 on 3. Haha during that match... omg I didnt know what got into me... I was playing like I never played before. All my shots were entering. Even Yih Hon said "Dude your shooting today is crazy!!" I did countless fade aways and they all found they're way into the basket. I was even scaring myself lol.

After basketball, I sat down with Yih Hon for awhile and talked about the match we had. Then he went home and I met up with the rest of the gang at mamak. Headed over to i-play played a few games then went back down to mamak and eat at 4 am. 9 of us crashed in at Chen Tseng's place. Imagine 9 ppl cramed into a 10 by 10 feet room and 7 of them are sweaty. In the morning when I wokeup.. All I saw was bodies all over the floor xD all asleep. Then Ally came over to have brunch with us haha. Jiayi drove us all to Sri Neelas and we had mamak food for brunch. Ally left early. Me, Anderson, Luzman, Chen Tseng, Kong, and Jiayi sat down there for almost and hour talking bout movies before we finally decided to make a move. Jiayi sent us all home. I fell dead asleep after taking a shower and wokeup at 7pm. Went downstairs and saw relatives coming for the reunion dinner. I ate dinner quickly, changed and went out for basketball. Too bad Yih Hon cudnt make it. He was stuck at his own family dinner. Me, anderson, jiayi, jialin, kong, chen tseng, chong hon and vikraman played ball. 3 on 3 at first then 4 on 4. And the weird part was... my shots were still going in... And I thought that the day before was just a 1 time flair. Apparently this new "feel" is here to stay. Praise God!!.

    This will be a quickie. To those 3rdKL members who cared to ask why I havnt been showing up for regular meetings is that I'm working and do not have time to attend meetings. Photography is an extremely busy job. I can do overtime till 4 am in the morning = =". Yes I do miss going to BB. Miss doing drill. Miss the bible classes. Miss going mamak with you guys after meeting. Miss polishing my uniform and especially putting it on. What to do... work is work. If any of you thought I'm not coming to meeting cuz i didnt get promoted... GET REAL. I've already realized from 2 years ago that no matter how good I am the officers council will never promote me. So no reason for me to get emo about it. Reasons are unknown to myself. Whateva la. You wanna stop me from getting my presidents badge FINE. Imma work with Darryn to revive 9th KL company. Better then facing disappointment over and over again. I shall return to 3rdKL when I do find the time to get off work.  Thats about it.

    Something to look forward to.... tomorrow Yih Hon's farewell barbeque woot. Gonna stuff myself to near-comatose state again xD and dont forget our 21 balls 1 on 1 Yih Hon!! Go all out NO MERCY!!. Had annual company dinner just now. It was just plain fun haha getting to hangout with colleagues and see the uber lighter side of them. The food was just fantastic. I think it was an 8 course meal. Yes I stuffed myself full lol. I LOVE FOOD.

  Success demands sacrifice. What will I be willing to sacrifice to reach my goal that is to play in major basketball leagues in Canada / USA. Well I dont know yet but will find out in the future. However... things that I will never ever sacrifice : Friends, Family, Religion and Self-Respect. Currently putting almost all my freetime into training my vertical jumps. Since the day I finally touched the basketball hoop I was esctatic and it gave me more motivation to improve on my jumping. I kept on jumping and jumping. And I went from just touching the hoop to hanging on it. I'm coming closer and closer each day to my short term goal of doing a successful slam dunk. BTW I'm only 5 foot ''7'' that means 170.18 cm tall. And reaching for the hoop is quite a feat for someone my height. Yea yea I'm 1 inch shorter then the main character in Dear Boys anime Aikawa which is btw also no.7 same as me .

  Koh Yih Hon!! seizhai going to aussie . Who's is gonna replace the Kenny-Yih Hon combo in the basketball court? Dammit!! I will miss playing ball with you dude. You're the best teamate I ever had. We're unstoppable when we're in the same team . But when we are facing each other it keeps me on my edge and it makes me wanna do my best to beat you. I've improved on my defence because of the training we had together. We always had each others backs covered when going for the basket. You kept pushing me to improve and taught me alot of basic yet important movements in basketball. If I do get into a major basketball league, I owe it all to you . Dont worry Yih Hon.. getting into a major basketball league is a do-or-die for me. NO GIVING UP. Lets do that 21 balls 1 on 1 match b4 you leave . Give it your all. Let it be the best match we ever played together.

  I'll tell the story of how and why I started playing basketball. I was dragged into basketball  by a good friend who wanted to play basketball to impress a girl and wanted me to "teman" him. Back then I wore 3quater shorts a shirt and off-road shoes to play. And I had to say I had natural talent in basketball and was quickly sucked into the sport and never got out. Well... my good friend was unsucessful in impressing the girl and stopped playing the sport. But I on the other hand played on. Because I loved the sport very very much. Back then I would play as soon as I got home from school till 10pm at nite alone... yes I loved basketball that much. It was PMR year that time. Everytime I got home, aunty will think that i went to cyber cafe lol. I WAS SHOOTING HOOPS!!!. I trained alone for the whole year of form 3 and i never once felt bored. Then around form 4 another friend of mine invited me to play in a place called danau idaman. Every Friday at night a big group of ppl will play. And all are my schoolmates. So finally I can play with friends again. I finally got a pair of basketball shoes. Cheap ones... they spoilt after 6 months. Then got another pair which only lasted 4 months. Finally got a pair of reebok basketball shoes for christmas 2006. Those good pair of shoes lasted for 11 months. Yes I played practically everyday to spoil 3 shoes in less then 2 years xD. Then christmas 2007 I finally got a pair of t-macs. Solid basketball shoes. RM 450.00 a pair lol. Then at early 2007 I got my first pair of basketball shorts. Nike.. bought it at RM 50.00. And around mid 2007 got my first team jersey. Oh how proud I was. No.7 point guard Kenny Low. It was in 2006 I  met Yih Hon. The guy that I always wanted to best. If you had asked me 2 years ago whether I would touch the hoop.. I would laugh at you so hard my teeth would start falling out. Yes I've only played ball for 2 years + +. And I can hang on the hoop .

  Played badminton yesterday and zomg I havnt played in 6 years lol. Entire left arm and buttocks having muscle aches. Real serious muscle aches. Not to mention a small injury on my waist thanks to Anderson = =". Dont ask me why my buttocks are aching. I dont know myself lol.

Yea peeps CNY is approaching!! Is that time of the year again where we will collect angpao!! and have holidays and hangout with relatives and stay up real late and drink till ur dead  and not to mention the petty gambling . Its the time of the year where we basically have FUN and usually break the rules .

New years resolution(s) or in other words... DO OR DIE!!

1. Improve on my basketball.

2. Grow to at least 6 feet tall .

3. Attempt a successful atomic wedgie on Chen Tseng.

4. Gain weight

5. Work my way to Canada. (I'm coming my dear sister!!)

6. Climb Mount Kinabalu.

7. Go on a backpacking trip for at least 1 month.

8. Cycle to Terrenganu and back.

9. Attempt a successful wedgie on Yih Hon before he goes to Aussie.

10. Make Anderson taste the "rainbows" .

11. Learn how to dodge "elbows".

12. Slam dunk above Ryan's head .

13. Do all of the above xD.
